Noticeboard Privacy Policy

Noticeboard (“the app”) is published by GetApps. This policy explains what the app does with your information.

What we collect

You sign in to Noticeboard with your Google account. When you do, we receive and store, on our server (Supabase):

• your name, email address and Google profile photo link, and
• when your account was created and when you last signed in.

We use this only to run your account. We don’t sell it, share it with advertisers or use it to track you. The app has no ads and no analytics.

What stays on your phone

Your notice types, recruiters and states, saved notices and reminder settings are kept only on your device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. Uninstalling the app deletes them.

Deleting your account

In the app, open Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and profile from our server. You can also email getapps.technologies@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, and we will delete it within 30 days.

Network access

The app uses the internet only to:

• sign you in with Google and keep your account profile (described above),
• download public notice pages and news feeds from official recruitment sites and news publishers, and
• if you turn it on, download the on-device AI model from Hugging Face (huggingface.co).

Downloads of notices and the AI model are ordinary downloads. Like any web request, the sites you download from can see your IP address and device type, as described in their own privacy policies. The app sends them none of your choices or saved notices.

On-device AI

The optional AI model runs entirely on your phone. The notices it reads and the results it produces are not sent anywhere.

Notifications

The app asks for permission to show notifications so it can remind you about deadlines for notices you save. Reminders are scheduled on your device.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Not a government app

Noticeboard is independent. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government body, recruiting agency or bank.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
